Requirements
TIMG was engaged by Solicitors Assisting to support a large, high-profile government inquiry, by providing consulting, data hosting, and ESI processing.
The Process
- Nuix Discover was used to manage and review large volumes of documents produced in response to summonses.
- The pace and scope of the inquiry meant that documents were produced in response by a large number of parties, and multiple productions were received each day. TIMG’s consultants and technical analysts matched this pace, ensuring documents were made available to Solicitors Assisting in a timely manner.
- TIMG were able to respond to further complexities by accommodating the large number of parties (including Counsel, experts, and other interested parties) who required access to the Discover case. Each party had specific requirements in terms of document access, customised fields, access to features, and screen layouts. Utilising the flexibility of the Discover platform, and the granular security controls it offers, TIMG consultants were able to accommodate the diverse needs of the parties.
- On a daily basis, TIMG prepared hearing bundles for the inquiry in a variety of formats, including load file formats for the eHearing service provider, print bundles for witnesses and the Commissioner, and hyperlinked indexes for Counsel Assisting. Leveraging both the wide range of formats in which Discover can produce documents, as well as the technical skills of TIMG’s analysts and consults, TIMG was able to rapidly prepare large document sets for hearings in both electronic and hardcopy formats.
Outcome
Through its responsiveness and its ability to effectively leverage its technology solutions, TIMG was able to match the fast pace of the inquiry, and delivering hearing and examination bundles within tight deadlines, to the diverse specifications of multiple parties.
| This responsiveness was greatly valued by Solicitors Assisting, further solidifying a strong relationship with a valued client.
